Prayer for peace and stability in homeland, celebrating our victories together, 5th February at St Yeghiche Church.

His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamian, Chief Chaplin of the Armenian Armed forces, will deliver the message of the day at St Yeghiche Church.

The 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Armenian Armed forces was celebrated in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin on January 29th. Pontifical Encyclical was read on that occasion and at the end of the service a prayer for peace was offered under the Presidency of His Holiness KAREKIN II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.

The celebrations and prayers for peace and stability in homeland are taking place in all Armenian Churches.

Prayer for peace and stability in the homeland will be held at St. Yeghiche Armenian Church on Sunday, February 5th.

His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamian, Chief Chaplin of the Armenian Armed forces who is London for a short ecumenical visit, will deliver the message of the day. With the blessings of His Grace Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, Rev. Fr. Hagop Grigoryan, who accompanies Bishop Vrtanes, will celebrate Divine Liturgy.

As customary, the Armenian Relief Society (ARS) will also remember and pray for their past members, who are no longer with us. This Armenian organisation has always shown their unreserved devotion to the Army and its community.

Divine Liturgy starts at 11:00 am and the prayer for peace will start at noon. There will be refreshments after the liturgy and the faithful will have opportunity to ask questions to His Grace Bishop Vrtanes.
