Special Service in Solidarity of people of France

On Sunday, 22 November, St. Yeghiche Armenian Church, London, held a Special Service in Solidarity of people of France and to honour the memory of the victims of Friday 13 November 2015 in Paris. The service was presided by Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, Primate of the diocese of Great Britain and Ireland,  accompanied by representatives from other churches.

Sunday 8th November 2015, St Yeghiche Armenian Church Parish was the centre stage for the Armenian Community remembering all the fallen victims of the first and second world wars and all the other wars. A wreath was laid at 11 am by the Parish Council members as a sign of respect.
HG Bishop Hovakim led the Sunday Service of Divine Liturgy and in his sermon he spoke about the resurrection which our Lord has exercised and preached and shown us his own resurrection which is the cornerstone of our Christian faith.
After his Sermon, HG led special prayers for His Holiness Karekin II on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of his enthronement as the Catholicos of All Armenians. The St Yeghiche choir sang special hems, and prayers were offered for His Holinesses long reign.
